Day 30 of Make Madness – Organizing Embroidery Floss

When we were married about a year, Mike bought me all the colors of DMC embroidery floss for my birthday.  I cross stitched back then and embroidery floss was my ‘paint’.  It was an incredibly sweet gift, especially because he’s not a fan of craft stores.

I used a lot of the floss, but still have a bunch left, lo these many years later.  I came across this pin on Pinterest and thought this was a great way to display the many colors of floss.

Today I use the floss with my cards and other crafts and this will make it easier to pick colors.
