Day 4 of Make Madness – Painting with Alcohol Inks

cd0be46e5235eedffa18df89fe203bebAlcohol inks, created by Ranger and Tim Holtz, are an acid-free, fast drying transparent dye inks specially formulated to create a colorful, polished stone effect. Use on glossy paper, dominoes, metal, shrink plastic, glass, and other slick surfaces.

This particular tutorial shows how to make an alcohol ink palette and to paint on clear transparencies.

I’ve used alcohol inks to create card backgrounds before, but I’ve never painted with it.  I’m excited to see how this will turn out.

Come back tonight to see how I did.

Until this evening,

Grace
