Day 29 of Make Madness – Painted Pine Cones

I didn’t paint all the pine cones, but chose a selection of the rose cones, medium and small cones.  I painted half sage green, the other half platinum.

When they were dry, I grabbed two candle holders and converted them into pine cone holders ;-).  They really fit in nicely.

I think we’re going to have to step up our ‘pine cone’ searches.  Looks like we’re gonna need more walks!

Painting the pine cones is a great idea! I like a minimalistic style, wonder if it would work out spray painting them all white!? 🙂

I think that would look beautiful. Like they’re covered with snow. Quick question about the B&W challenge – did you ask permission of the blogs that you nominated or did you just nominate and then they can do it if they want?

I look forward to your thoughts
