Ornament #24 – Paper Flower {30 Days of Christmas Ornaments}

30 Days Christmas OrnamentsOrnament #24 – Paper Flower01ba3e1a63237b2159978bb82ea81ecd0674119839

I have always loved paper crafts.  I’ve always loved paper.  Any kind.  ***Nerd alert***  When I was old enough to appreciate school supplies, I couldn’t wait for summer to end so I could go to the store to buy my supplies.  I loved them all: the pens, pencils, rulers, markers, crayons, clear pencil holders, calendars, Trapper Keepers and especially the paper.  I don’t care what kind of paper: lined, 20lb weight, watercolor, blank, cardstock, patterned paper, vellum, linen, card board – I see potential in it all.  College ruled was my favorite, still is.  To this day, around back to school time, I’m always so tempted to buy a 200 sheet pack of college-ruled binder paper.

  1. Michelle says:

    I did a couple of times as a kid! I was quite good at it, once I learned to stop eating all of my supplies.

  2. Yes when I was in Girl Scouts, many moons ago!

  3. Pam Robertson says:

    When my Girl Scout troop was in 1st grade I thought it would be a good idea to do gingerbread houses with all 12 of them. Haven’t done it since lol!

    By the way I think you and Bekah are kindred spirits, she gets giddy at the thought of school supply shopping. She actually has her list ready in July!

  4. Cathy Powell says:

    When I taught preschool we used to make them with the kids. They were all very unique.

  5. Neil says:

    No I haven’t. This was a cool ornament.

I look forward to your thoughts
