For today’s ornament I used a product called Pluffy Clay. Made by Sculpey, it’s reported to be “an amazingly versatile clay that never dries out”. Today I put that claim to the test. The package of Pluffy I own, I purchased TWO years ago. I had a backup plan if this didn’t work out, but I really wanted to make these clay ornaments.
I opened the package, followed the instructions and sure enough the clay worked beautifully. It was NOT dry, very easy to work with, rolled out beautifully and sliced very well. I used a soap mold to stamp my puppy paw impression and then cut out a circle around the impression using a paper-crafting circle die. Not the most conventional use of a circle die, but it worked. I poked a hole at the top for the ribbon using my shish kabob skewers and “cooked” them in a 275 degree oven for 20 minutes. After the ornaments cooled off, I painted them using Martha Stewart’s Pearl acrylic paint (Jet Stream). The Jet Stream color is a light wintery blue and the pearl-essence gives them a lovely glittery look.
I used white Pluffy, but the product comes in 16 different colors and I would highly recommend it and use it again.
Item #34 – Declutter and decorate the Master Bedroom.
Everyone has a room in their house/apartment that is the catch-all hideaway especially when company’s coming over. For us it’s the Master Bedroom. I’m, by far, the worst culprit in our family, but I want to change that. I first want to declutter and then decorate the room to make it a peaceful, beautiful space.

Once again I offered to let mom use my paw print and once again she said I was too wiggly. I still don’t agree.
Just after thanksgiving…when 96.1 goes all xmas…
I could listen to it all year long! At my office my co-workers have a strict after thanksgiving rule. I think it may have something to do with my sing-a-longs and them needing to enforce a time limit on that, but who knows! I love Christmas music!!
Ok, that made me laugh out loud.
Right after Thanksgiving.
The SECOND the clock strikes midnight on November 1st.
Lol. You take Christmas celebrating very seriously!!
I am a Christmas fiend.
