Day 6 {Make Madness} – Part 2 – Crocheting Tiny Flowers

Day 6 – Crocheting Tiny Flowers

I knew I liked to crochet, but this project reminded me why I LOVE to crochet.  The first tutorial I chose wasn’t very well written or maybe it was and I’m not a good student.  I decided to see if Lucy from Attic24 had any tiny flower tutorials and she did.  Her instructions are out of this world.  Lucy is the one that designed the Ripple Blanket pattern I’m using for one of my Quest46 projects.

71KlU1taY+L._SL1200_I used my leftover Bonbons yarn from Lion Brands Yarn.  I originally used this yarn to crochet the miniature stocking ornament during {30 Days of Christmas Ornaments}.

The instructions were amazing and before I knew it I was crocheting tiny flowers in no time at all.  It was fairly addictive and I see myself making a few more of these.  I used a size 3.5mm crochet hook and Lion Brand Bonbons cotton yarn.

And here’s the result.  I can see myself hot gluing buttons and/or pearls in the middle of these flowers.
