I started this blog on October 1, 2012 and while it’s taken me a while to settle into a regular posting schedule, I finally feel as though the train is heading steadily down the track.
As I’ve been planning out 2015, I’ve also been looking back at 2014. In lieu of a ‘Year in Review’ post, I thought I’d share the top 10 posts of 2014.
In order of most views:
10. (128 views) Ornament #8 – Felt Dog Bone {30 Days of Christmas Ornaments}. One of my favorite ornaments to make. By this time, I had mastered the blanket stitch.
9. (129 views) Ornament #4 – Hand painted Dog Bone Icicle {30 Days of Christmas Ornaments}. I’m considering making this next year for friends and family who own dogs.
8. (131 views) Eucalyptus Oil to Stop a Cough? I tried this and maybe it’s something that needs to be done on a regular basis, but it didn’t really work for me. I still really like essential oils especially in my soap recipes.
7. (136 views) Ornament #5 – Map Ornament {30 Days of Christmas Ornaments}. This would be a fun ornament to send to a friend or family member who lives far away.
6. (156 views) Yummy Knitted Dish Cloths. This is a fun pattern and really easy despite it’s complicated look. I’m considering making these for stocking stuffers next year.
5. (177 views) Ornament #1 – Patchwork Christmas Trees {30 Days of Christmas Ornaments}. This was a fun way to use up scrap fabric. I made trees, but really you could make any shape you want.
4. (309 views) Pinterest 365 – Day 3 – Homemade Laundry Detergent. A couple of Christmases ago, I made a group of friends their own batch of laundry detergent along with the recipe. They’re still making their own today. It really is a great recipe.
3. (314 views) Pinterest 365 – Day 7 – Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub. There’s nothing quite as invigorating as a sugar scrub. I keep a jar by the sink in the kitchen for my hands as well as use the scrub when I bathe.
2. (508 views) Pinterest 365 – Day 4 – Chicken Vegetable Casserole. This is just about the easiest dinner you can make.
1. (624 views) Pinterest 365 – Day 11 – Pumpkin No Bake Energy Bites. You’ll need to make a double batch because the first one will be gone before you know it.
It’s been a wonderful year full of memorable times and filled with lots of love. Thank you all for taking time to stop by to read these posts.
If you had to make a list of your 3 favorite dogs in the whole world, would I be #1? I’m the oldest after all.
