Card #21 – A See Through Shaker Card
I started by assembling all my supplies.
I’m a bit in love with shaker cards at the moment. This one is a little different because the acetate sheets are placed right on top of each other, creating a see through card.
I used yellow textured cardstock (4 1/4″ X 11″) for my base, white cardstock (4″ X 5 1/4″) for the cover panel, scrap white cardstock for the stamped images and clear acetate (4″ X 4″) for the see through part.
I started by die cutting the front of the card and the cover panel. I used my square frame die cuts and cut towards the top of the card to leave room at the bottom for the sentiment.
I stamped and embossed two images of a light bulb and cut them out. Each image is glued together so that the back of the panel is the same as the front.
I adhered one of the clear acetate pieces to the back of the front panel over the square made by the die cut. I placed the light bulb and sprinkled glitter and sequins. I then glued down the remaining acetate square on top of the bulb and sequins. I glued down the white cover panel to cover the glue used to secure the acetate.
I stamped the sentiment on the lower portion of the front of the card and glued three rhinestones just below the left lower corner.
Here is the finished card.

Hi Audrey – Thanks so much… I use a brand called Grafix and I found it on Amazon. I shopped around and this one seemed to be the best deal. Here’s the link. http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001K7Q6Z0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
