Card #24 – Die Cut Flower Card
I used the “Thanks a Bunch” sentiment again because of the flowers. It just seems to go so well.
Once I decided on my colors, this card went together very quickly.
For this card I used light blue textured cardstock (4 1/4″ X 11″) for my base, a variety of patterned cardstock for the flowers and greenery and vellum (4″X3″) for the sentiment panel.
I chose my coordinating patterned cardstock and die cut two sets of the flowers and four sets of the greenery. I also ran the front of my card through the Big Shot with the polka dot embossing folder.
I assembled my flowers by placing the more patterned piece on top of the more solid piece. I did that with all similarly shaped flowers. Then I attached the greenery first in an arc over the top and bottom of the vellum. After that I just glued the flowers on top of the greenery.
I finished the card by attaching white enamel dots to the center of each flower.
Here is the finished card.

Did you mention to Mindy that it’s not cool to chew on your die cuts? I figured because she’s still new that you’d want to point that out.
