Today I decided to video my first Make Madness project which is Pompoms. This is a project I’ve had on my todo list for ages and never got around to/allowed myself the time to work on them.
Pompoms are really magical creatures. You can add them to your knitted hats/shawls, string them together to make a beautiful garland or add them as gift wrapping. You can also use them for your home decor projects. They’re very versatile.
As I said in the video, I use the Clover pompom makers and they work very well. You can use any yarn for these beauties and I found them to be a great way to use up my forever multiplying stash of acrylic yarn.
I hope you give pompom making a try. It’a great project to do while you’re watching tv or in my case, while I’m listening to my hubby read The Lord of the Rings: Two Towers. Thank you for taking the time to spend with me today and I’ll see you tomorrow for more Make Madness 2018.
