Checking in…

Hi there.  Remember me?  I know it’s been ages (June!) since my last crafty post (I promise I’ll be back), but I’ve had a very busy summer taking care of dogs (my other passion, next to crafts). AND while I enjoy a thematic series of posts as much as the next guy, I fried myself a bit with my daily projects/posts back in May and needed a breather.

Despite my lack of daily posts, I’ve been busy crafting and creating and organizing and walking dogs and playing with dogs and … ;-).  It’s been a fantastic summer, but now I want to get back to a regular posting schedule (not necessarily every day) and share my creations with you.

Here are a few of the things I did to pass the summer away:

celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary.

took care of lots of doggies (yea!!!)

made neck coolers for the dogs.  For several weeks this summer we experienced several triple digit days in a row.  When I woke up one morning at 5am and it was already 70 degrees, I knew it was time to wrap these babies around my babies.

made a bead drying rack.  I have discovered the “pandora style” bead and am anxious to share my progress with you.  Excitement coming soon!!!

made a gelli plate for mono printing.  I’ve wanted a gelli plate for some time, but they’re pricey, so I made one.  It works great for a fraction of a fraction of the cost.  I’ll share more in the weeks and months to come.
