Paws || Walk On – 5.10 – 5.23

Every now and then when I’m walking dogs, I will just stop, ask them to sit for about 30 seconds and then I will say “walk on”. That is there cue to start walking again. I do this for a couple of reasons: 1. They’re super focused when they’re on the walk and I like to know I can get their attention any time I need it. 2. It’s good to continue to incorporate training into their daily routines. Just as we need to continue to refine our skills, so must dogs.

This always reminds me how important it is for me to pause and reflect on the past week and then think about the next one as I “walk on”.

    Hello! I started knitting the scarf too because I saw one of your older blog posts about it and it looks interesting 🙂 but somehow my holes from the *k2tog,yo* rows aren’t very obvious ><;

    I like your blogposts a lot because it's very detailed on what you did/plan to do, and I think I should be that way with my own life but I'm rather disorganised about it :p so I would look to you as a role model in being so organised 🙂

    I like crochet as well and in fact I started with crochet a little while before knitting 🙂

    All the best with your goals for the week ahead 🙂

      Thanks so much for your kind words. You’re very sweet and I appreciate that you think I’m organized, but I’ve got a long way to go lol. But I keep trying.
      I agree with what you said about the scarf- the holes aren’t very obvious, but I’m hoping when I’m done and the scarf has been blocked that they’ll show up.
      I learned how to crochet before I learned how to knit as well. My mom taught me both. How did you learn?

      • ealserb says:

        Sorry for taking so long to reply! I learnt off the Internet 🙂 and I learnt some crochet basics from my aunt, before going on to the Internet as well. To be honest, I’ve never blocked anything before ><; I've only ever crocheted little toys and things that didn't need blocking 😡 I'm moving on to knitting some simple toys now though cos I feel that the stockinette fabric is really much softer 🙂 I still can't knit in the round, by the way.

  2. That blanket looks amazing!

      Thanks Faye. I just found the yarn, Baby Blanket by Bernet. It’s considered super bulky and has a feel of soft minky plush fabric. I gave this blanket away, but I’m definitely going to knit up another (slightly larger) for my doggies.

I look forward to your thoughts
