Day 7 – DIY Glue Dots
I knew going into this project that it would take a while for the glue dots to ‘dry’. I used Aleene’s Tack-It Over & Over adhesive, squeezed out glue dots onto waxed paper and let it sit for at least 3 hours. Even then, it was still gooey. I left it for a couple more hours and it resembled the glue dots you buy in the store.
Now the real test, for me, takes place. I took one of my enamel dots, stuck on a glue dot and adhered it to a piece of paper. Initially the enamel dot stuck to the paper, but after a few minutes I tried to see if the dot was permanent and it popped off. The glue dot was sticky, but not like a permanent adhesive. I’m going to let it sit over night and see how it is in the morning. I’ll keep you posted.
Until tomorrow,
I’m sorry these didn’t work out the way you wanted mom. Maybe they’ll be better tomorrow.
